My name is Nicolas Jaccard, a Swiss Student freshly arrived in London. I am here to do a six months bachelor research work at the University College London in the department of biochemical engineering. Later this year I will graduate with an “Engineer in Biotechnology” bachelor certification from the University of Applied Science Western Switzerland in Sion (Switzerland, Valais) where I studied for three years. I have been awarded a studentship for the MRes/PhD programme CoMPLEX, meaning I am here for four more years !
